I've been encouraging my students for years to use Easy Bib as a citation tool/maker. I had no idea that we could grab a button for our toolbar until now. I love this - it makes life so much easier rather than having to toggle back and forth from Easy Bib to the source we are citing. I'd still coach my student to not only rely upon the auto-cite option and to always double check that the citation includes everything that was able to be found. I like that Easy Bib will keep a running list of your sources for you so that it can easily be copied into a Word or Google Doc. As for the credibility part of the button - I'm not impressed. Most all of the sites that I visited did not have a credibility rating. When I clicked on Evaluate it, I liked that the info. graphic appeared to explain what credible, somewhat credible an not credible at all looks like. Although, I doubt my students would take the time to read through the 10 slides to figure it all out. I think some direct instruction and experience rating sources is the best way for kids to be able to learn about and question credibility. My overall thoughts on the credibility button are that it's not very helpful.
